Since our favorite beach in Aruba is Palm Beach, we enjoy the accommodations that we find at the fabulous high rise Aruba hotels. Years ago, on our very first visit to the island, we stayed at the stunning Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort and Casino...OMG!...Gorgeous!

The following year we brought three other couples with us and we stayed at the less glitzy, but charming Aruba Grand Beach Resort and Casino (which was later taken down and the Riu Palace Aruba All Inclusive was built in its spot- not for our taste). The Hilton Resort is lovely and located in the center of Palm Beach.

Another favorite beach of ours is the absolutely stunning Eagle Beach. Some of the loveliest low rise hotels are located on this expansive and serene beach.

With each and every visit we have had to the island we have always thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and looked forward to the next one. Wherever you choose to stay doesn’t seem to make that much difference. The island of Aruba is what makes the difference!

Lovely hotel but not convenient to walk to the other Aruba high rise hotels since it is located a bit farther north on Palm Beach. We enjoy taking a stroll on the lit beach walkway in the evening.
If you rent a vehicle or take a taxi, you won’t have a problem.

In my opinion this Aruba hotel appears to be out of place on Palm Beach. We have spoken to a number of people who have stayed at the Riu Palace and only 1 out of 4 said they would return. We have never stayed there and as I explained previously, to us it does not make sense to stay at an all inclusive resort when Aruba offer such exquisite dining all around the island.
